Reporting directly to the CMO, the Director of Marketing Operations will own the strategy and administration of the Marketing technical stack and will be responsible for analyzing, reporting, and accelerating the movement of leads thru the funnel.  The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on administrative experience (certifications strongly preferred) with both and Marketo and will be able to integrate those technologies with third-party applications as appropriate.


  • Administer SFDC working across Marketing and closely with Sales and the BDR team to create, edit, and act on reports and dashboards
  • Serve as the primary Marketo administrator, overseeing the development, implementation, and ongoing management of Marketo-related processes, from form, field and token management to landing page, email, and nurture campaign templates, to lead scoring
  • Maintain data integration between Marketo and Salesforce; interface with Sales, troubleshoot system integration, & drive new systems integration projects as needed
  • Segment and leverage the marketing database for greater campaign efficiency, contact outreach, and effectiveness
  • Ensure data integrity across leads, contacts, campaigns, and opportunities
  • Analyze, report, and communicate on a daily basis
  • Measure and manage all aspects of our marketing lead generation engine: database cleanliness, campaign effectiveness, funnel velocity, conversion rate optimization, pipeline contribution, and overall business performance in Marketo, Salesforce, Bizible, and other relevant tools
  • Create reports & dashboards to share with departments & to inform program improvements
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the company to implement automations for marketing campaigns and programs
  • Establish, maintain & document scalable processes that ensure best practices in lead generation & management; develop tip sheets and internal processes for using Marketo
  • Communicate database updates

  • expertise (admin certification strongly preferred)
  • Marketo expertise (Marketo certification strongly preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of experience in Marketing
  • Hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Domo, InsightSquared, GoodData, Tableau, etc, a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
